What is it all about?

It is a 30 minute guided tour, followed by an exhibition room which you can do yourself and spend as much time in as you want.


Is this experience the same as the one we’ve seen in America/Australia?

No. This experience is housed in the original White Star Line Building, so this tour is unique to here.


How long does the complete experience take?

After the guided part of the tour (which takes 30 minutes) the exhibition normally takes people 20-30 minutes to complete. Some people will spend longer there. It all depends on your level of interest in the Titanic story.


Can I book tickets online?

Yes you can book online up to midnight before the day, and pay by debit/credit card, or Paypal.


Is it suitable for children?

Yes, it is a family friendly tourist attraction, including baby changing facilities.


What happens if I missed my pre-booked tour time?

Once you arrive at reception you will be put on the next available tour (which may not be the next starting tour).


If I am running late, can I change my tour time?

Yes, if you phone ahead, an available tour time can be issued to you.


Can I book tickets by phone?

Yes, but it is advisable to pre-book online during the summer months.


What time do you open?

May 1 – September 30: 9:00am

October 1 – April 30: 10:00am


What time is the last tour of the day?

May 1 – September 30: 5.15pm (July and August: 5:45pm)

October 1 – April 30: 4:45pm


Is the experience wheelchair accessible?

Yes. There is a ramp to the main door, a lift and the complete tour is wheelchair friendly.


Do you have a gift/souvenir shop?

Yes, available before and after the tour.


How often do tours begin?

Summer months: Every 15 minutes

Winter months: Every 30 minutes


Is photography (flash photography) allowed?

Yes, but video recording is not allowed.


Do you have parking?

No, but there is on-street parking in the town (€1 per hour). There are also 2 ‘free to park all day’ car parks in the town. Follow the ‘P’ signs as you approach the town.
